A Heartfelt Request for Support in Pursuit of a New Beginning
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Supporters,
My name is Sydnea Ballantyne, and I am a 47-year-old mother to my beautiful 25-year-old daughter, Yamani. Throughout my life, I have faced numerous challenges, including being diagnosed with ADHD at 18 and, more recently, Autism in July 2023. Despite these hurdles, I have always strived to maintain full-time employment and provide a stable life for my daughter and myself.
However, since 2017, my health has taken a significant toll on my ability to work consistently. I have suffered multiple strokes, with the most recent occurring in February 2024, and have been living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). These health issues, coupled with degenerative disc disease and Broca’s aphasia, have made it increasingly difficult to sustain stable employment.
Despite these challenges, I have managed to work part-time positions to cover my basic expenses. However, recent changes in my medication have led to increased feelings of sadness, disorganization, and depression. Some days, it’s a struggle to get out of bed; on others, I find solace in writing and journaling.
Today, I have an opportunity to move from a crime-ridden area to a place of tranquility—a chance for a fresh start. To make this move possible, I need assistance covering the deposits for the apartment, electricity, and water, totaling $2,500. Additionally, acquiring a vehicle would enable me to seek employment opportunities to sustain my new home.
I share my story not to seek pity but to ask for support in reclaiming my independence and providing a safer environment for myself. With your help, I can remove the mask I’ve worn for so long and embrace the person I am meant to be.
If you are able and willing to assist, any contribution would be deeply appreciated. Donations can be made via CashApp at $4z4 or through PayPal at [email protected]
I believe that better days are ahead, and with your support, I can embark on this new chapter with hope and determination.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering my request.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Sydnea Ballantyne
